Squat Triples at 275
Starting Stuff: Dynamic Stretching, Rolling
Working: Squats, moving up the ladder to work sets of 3 x 275, finisher of 5 x 225
Accessory: Leg Press 5 x 500 x 3
Continuing to groove in the right depth to my squats, and the key is in my mind. Just knowing that if I go all the way down, I am definitely coming back up no matter what. Jeff said that the last 275 set was the best heavy squat set I’ve ever done. The interesting thing to me is that, while I know it’s true, it was not the hardest heavy set I’ve ever done. In fact, I’m not sure I’d put either of these into the top ten heavy squat sets I’ve done, in terms of difficulty. Don’t get me wrong: it was work. But it came up a lot easier than I would have thought.
